Ranking your own dive trips is an odd exercise — every operator will tell you that everything they run is the best. So here is exactly how we did it. Side Diving operates five full-day boat diving trips along the Antalya coast: from Side and Kumköy in the centre, Kemer in the west and Alanya in the east, plus a day out of Antalya itself. All five share an identical core package, which means the only honest way to separate them is by what actually sits underwater at each spot, how the day is structured, and what it costs. That is the ranking below — the flagship first, the best-value alternatives after it.
First, the part that is the same everywhere, because it matters more than any ranking: every trip on our tours page includes two guided dives — a calm morning dive at 5–8 metres lasting 15–25 minutes, then an afternoon dive down to 12–13 metres — plus all equipment (tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins), a fresh lunch on board, free two-way hotel transfer with a morning pickup, passenger and diving insurance, and a full safety briefing. Beginners dive without any licence, try-dives are possible from around age 10, and certified divers get their logbook signed and stamped. Non-diving companions can join the boat at a reduced rate.
Prices run from €43 to €50 — the full breakdown is on our prices page. Every trip can be reserved free online and paid on the day in cash or by card, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. If you are still unsure which day suits you, our guide to daily diving trips explains the format in depth — or simply message us and we will point you to the right boat and confirm current availability.
The only dive day on this coast built around a sunken-sculpture park: Side's Underwater Museum. It is our flagship for a reason — a 7-hour trip from Side for €45, small groups of just 3–4 divers per instructor, and the chance to hand-feed fish during the dive. If you do exactly one dive in the Antalya region, make it this one.
The richest underwater terrain in our programme: reefs, caves and shoals combined in a single 8-hour day out of Antalya. At €50 it is the most expensive of the five trips — and the extra few euros buy the widest variety of dive scenery we offer.
Caves and rocky reefs in the waters off Cleopatra Beach, with Alanya Castle watching over the boat all day. A full 8-hour trip for €43 makes it the most dramatic scenery-per-euro day in our line-up.
An 8-hour day from Kemer with PADI-certified instructors, diving rock formations that are home to reef fish and octopus. Same €43 price as Alanya — the natural choice if your hotel sits on the western side of the Antalya coast.
The most compact day of the five: 6 hours from Kumköy for €43, with exactly the same two guided dives, equipment, lunch and hotel transfer as every other trip. Choose it when you want the full diving experience with the smallest bite out of your holiday.
No. All five trips are designed for beginners: you get a full safety briefing, the morning dive stays at 5–8 metres with an instructor guiding you, and try-dives are possible from around age 10. Certified divers are equally welcome and get their logbook signed and stamped; CMAS courses are available on request.
