Scuba Diving from Çamyuva

Çamyuva sits just south of Kemer, where the pine forests of the Taurus Mountains run almost to the water's edge — the name itself means "pine nest" in Turkish. It is one of the quieter corners of the Kemer coastline: a relaxed strip of resort hotels and shaded gardens facing a calm, clear bay, with steep green ridges rising directly behind the beach. Guests come here to unwind rather than to party, which makes it a natural base for a day that swaps the sunbed for a dive boat.

Your dive day begins with a morning pickup from your Çamyuva hotel; the drive to the boat in neighbouring Kemer is short, so you spend the day on the water rather than on the road. On board, PADI-certified instructors run a full safety briefing before the first guided dive at a gentle 5–8 metres, lasting 15–25 minutes. A fresh lunch is served on deck as the boat cruises the coast, and in the afternoon you descend again to 12–13 metres, where rock formations shelter reef fish and, with a little luck, an octopus. Tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins are all provided, and passenger and diving insurance is included.

For divers staying in Çamyuva, the Kemer scuba diving trip is the obvious choice: the full eight-hour day costs €43 with the two-way hotel transfer already included, so there is no taxi maths and no hidden extras. You reserve your place free online and pay on the day, in cash or by card, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Compare all our trips on the prices page, and message us for current availability.

No licence or previous experience is needed — both dives are guided, and try-dives are open from around age ten, so families can share the day. Friends or partners who prefer to stay dry can join as boat guests at a reduced rate and enjoy the cruise and lunch. If it is your very first breath underwater, our discover scuba diving page explains exactly what to expect.

FAQ

Is hotel pickup from Çamyuva included in the price?+

Yes. Free two-way transfer from Çamyuva hotels is part of the trip. You are collected at your hotel in the morning, driven to the boat in Kemer, and brought back to your hotel after the dive day — there is no extra transfer charge.

Can I dive from Çamyuva without a diving licence?+

Yes. The trip is designed with beginners in mind: no licence or experience is required. After a full safety briefing, PADI-certified instructors guide both dives — first at 5–8 metres, then at 12–13 metres. Certified divers are welcome too and can have their logbooks signed and stamped.

What exactly is included for €43?+

Two guided dives, all equipment (tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins), a fresh lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance, and the free two-way hotel transfer from Çamyuva. Non-divers can join as boat guests at a reduced rate.

Are there any health restrictions for diving?+

Diving is not possible during pregnancy or with severe asthma, heart or respiratory conditions. You should also avoid flying within 24 hours after diving, so plan the trip accordingly. If you are unsure, contact us before booking.
