Gazipaşa marks the far-eastern end of the Antalya coastline: a down-to-earth town of banana groves and greenhouses that happens to have its own airport and some of the least developed shoreline in the region. In place of mega-resort strips you'll find the sheltered sweep of Selinus Beach below ancient ruins, quiet coves and a holiday rhythm that feels a world away from the busy Riviera further west. It's a fine place to hide from the crowds — and it doesn't mean giving up a proper day of scuba diving.
Because Gazipaşa sits at the very edge of our transfer band, hotel pickup here is arranged on request rather than promised across the board. Message us on WhatsApp with your hotel name and dates and we'll confirm whether we can collect you at the door or agree an easy meeting point on the Alanya side. Collection is in the morning, with the exact time confirmed the evening before; from there it's a short run west along the coast to the dive boat in Alanya — the nearest departure point to Gazipaşa — and a full eight-hour day on the water.
The programme is our Alanya scuba diving trip (€43): two guided dives among the caves and rocky reefs in the waters off Cleopatra Beach, with all equipment, a freshly cooked lunch on board and passenger and diving insurance included. Close to Alanya's harbour lies an ancient amphora site, where centuries-old clay jars rest on the seabed and divers often spot octopus, grouper and moray eels between the rocks.
No licence is needed. After a safety briefing, your first dive stays at 5–8 metres for a gentle 15–25 minutes — time to get used to breathing underwater — and the afternoon dive descends to 12–13 metres, always alongside an instructor. Try-dives are possible from around age 10, non-divers can come along as boat guests at a reduced rate, and certified divers can ask us about deeper sites on request. You reserve online for free, pay on the day and can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before; the full breakdown of what's included is on our prices page.

Pickup from Gazipaşa is arranged on request rather than included automatically — the town lies at the far-eastern edge of our transfer route. Message us on WhatsApp with your hotel name and preferred date and we'll confirm whether we can collect you directly or agree a convenient meeting point on the Alanya side. Pickup is in the morning, and the exact time is confirmed the evening before.
Yes. The Alanya trip is designed for first-timers: no licence is required, and after a full safety briefing an instructor guides you through your first dive at 5–8 metres for 15–25 minutes, followed by an afternoon dive to 12–13 metres. Try-dives are possible from around age 10. For safety, diving is not possible during pregnancy or with severe asthma, heart or respiratory conditions.
Two guided dives, all diving equipment, a freshly prepared lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance and the safety briefing are all included. Friends or family who don't want to dive can join as boat guests at a reduced rate. You reserve online for free, pay on the day of the trip, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
Leave at least a full day between diving and flying: as a safety rule you should not fly within 24 hours after a dive. With Gazipaşa's airport on your doorstep, the simplest plan is to book the dive trip for the earlier part of your holiday. And if you're a certified diver hoping for deeper sites or a wreck day, contact us in advance — we arrange those on request.
