Of all the resort districts we collect divers from, Oba is the closest to the action. It lies directly east of Alanya's centre — a mainly residential neighbourhood where modern apartment streets and garden cafés slope down to a wide beachfront of family-friendly hotels, with the silhouette of Alanya Castle rising just along the bay. Guests pick Oba for its calmer, more local pace; divers get an extra bonus, because the boat waits only a few minutes' drive away.
The day runs on a simple, well-tested rhythm. In the morning our driver collects you at your Oba hotel; the exact time is confirmed the evening before, once the day's route is set, and the free transfer works both ways. On board, the instructors run a thorough safety briefing before your first guided dive at 5–8 metres, which lasts 15 to 25 minutes — long enough to relax, breathe and start looking around. A freshly cooked lunch follows on deck, and the afternoon dive then takes you down to 12–13 metres. The whole trip fills about eight hours.
Underwater, Alanya rewards curiosity. The Alanya scuba diving trip explores rocky reefs and sea caves in the waters off Cleopatra Beach, and close to the harbour lies the amphora site, where ancient clay jars still rest on the seabed — octopus, grouper and moray eels are often seen patrolling between them. The caves of this coast are also woven into the Mediterranean monk-seal story. Certified divers get their logbook signed on board; if you hold a licence and want deeper days or wreck diving, ask us via the contact page and we will arrange it individually.
Beginners are the heart of this trip: no licence is needed, every dive is instructor-guided, and try-dives are possible from around age ten. Anyone who prefers to stay dry joins as a boat visitor at a reduced rate. The full day costs €43 with both dives, complete equipment, lunch, passenger and diving insurance and the Oba transfer included — the price page shows the detail. Reserve free online, pay on the day, and cancel free of charge up to 24 hours ahead.

Absolutely. No licence is required: you receive a full safety briefing, an instructor accompanies every dive, and the first dive stays at a gentle 5–8 metres for 15–25 minutes before the afternoon dive goes to 12–13 metres. Try-dives are possible from around age ten — ask us about options for younger children.
The price covers both guided dives, all diving equipment, fresh lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance, and the free two-way transfer from Oba. Non-diving friends or family are welcome on board as boat visitors at a reduced rate. You reserve free online, pay on the day, and can cancel free up to 24 hours before.
Yes. Diving is not possible during pregnancy or with severe asthma, heart or serious respiratory conditions. You should also not fly within 24 hours after diving, so plan the trip at least a day before your departure flight. If you are unsure whether you can dive, contact us before booking.
