Can I Book Diving Last Minute?

Can You Book a Dive at the Last Minute?

Yes, as long as there is space on the boat. Reserving is free online and you pay on the day in cash or by card, so a late booking costs you nothing to make and nothing to cancel. The real limit is not paperwork, it is capacity: each instructor takes only three or four divers, and the transfer route for the next morning is planned the evening before. Get your request in before that route is set and a next-day place is often possible; ask on the same morning and it depends entirely on whether a seat and a driver are still free.

What Actually Limits a Late Booking

Three things decide whether we can take you tomorrow.

None of those are reasons to hesitate. They are reasons to ask early in the day rather than late at night.

Which trip is easiest to join late?

It depends on where you are staying. If you are on the Side coast, the /tours/side-underwater-museum-diving day and the shorter /tours/kumkoy-scuba-diving day leave from the nearest harbour, so the transfer is simplest. If you are further along the coast, the /tours/kemer-scuba-diving, /tours/antalya-scuba-diving and /tours/alanya-scuba-diving trips may fit your location better. Compare all five on /tours and tell us your hotel — we will say straight away what is realistic.

Free Reservation, Pay on the Day

This is the part that makes last-minute booking painless. You reserve online without paying anything. On the day, you pay the crew in cash or by card. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the trip. There is no deposit to lose, no online payment to reverse, and no penalty if the weather or your plans change.

Prices are fixed and published, so a late booking never costs more than an early one: €45 for the Side Underwater Museum day, €43 for Kumkoy, Kemer and Alanya, and €50 for Antalya. All of them include two guided dives, all equipment, the two-way hotel transfer, lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance, and a full safety briefing. The full list is on /prices.

Non-divers who want to come along for the boat day can join as visitors at a reduced rate — useful when one half of a couple decides at the last minute. Just ask when you book.

Why the Evening-Before Confirmation Matters

We do not print a pickup time on your booking. We confirm it the evening before, once we know everyone travelling the next morning and where they are staying. For a last-minute booking that message is doubly important, because your hotel is being slotted into a route that was already half-planned.

So make sure of three things when you book late:

If you have not heard from us by late evening, message us on /contact rather than assuming. It takes a minute and saves the morning.

Booking Late as a Complete Beginner

You do not need a licence, a course booked in advance, or any previous experience: the guided programme is designed for first-timers, and the briefing on the boat covers everything you need. Beginners dive 5 to 8 metres on the morning dive and to about 13 metres maximum on the second, with an instructor beside them throughout. Try-dives start from about age 10.

What you cannot do at the last minute is skip the health questions. Everyone completes a standard diving medical questionnaire, and conditions such as pregnancy, severe asthma, heart or respiratory problems mean no diving. If something is flagged, a doctor's sign-off is needed — which is much easier to arrange if you tell us when you book rather than on the quay. See /blog/diving-with-medical-conditions and, for the whole first-day picture, /blog/first-time-scuba-diving-guide.

Certified divers booking late should mention their level and last dive date so the guide can plan the profile, and bring the certification card if it is with you. More on /diving/certified-diver-trips.

The Simplest Way to Do It

Pick a trip on /tours, reserve free, and message us with your hotel name if your dates are tight. We will tell you honestly whether tomorrow works or whether the day after is the better bet. And plan around the one rule that cannot bend: no flying within 24 hours of diving, so a dive on the morning of your flight home is never an option.

Frequently Asked

Can I book a dive for tomorrow?+

Often yes, if there is still space and your hotel fits the transfer route. Ask as early in the day as you can, because the next morning's pickup route is planned the evening before. Reserving is free and you pay on the day.

Can I book on the same morning?+

Sometimes, but it depends entirely on whether a place on the boat and a seat in the transfer are still free. Message us and we will tell you straight away rather than keep you waiting.

Does a last-minute booking cost more?+

No. Prices are fixed: €45 for the Side Underwater Museum day, €43 for Kumkoy, Kemer and Alanya, €50 for Antalya, including two dives, all equipment, hotel transfer, lunch and insurance. You pay on the day, never in advance.

Why do you confirm the pickup only the evening before?+

Because the route is built around everyone travelling that morning and where they are staying. Confirming the evening before is how we give you an accurate time, which is why we need a working phone number and your exact hotel name.
