Scuba Diving from Titreyengöl

Titreyengöl takes its name from the small "trembling lake" at its heart, a quiet stretch of water framed by pine woodland just east of Side. The resort area that grew up around it feels calmer than the busy town centre: shaded walking paths, a long sandy beach a short stroll away, and a cluster of comfortable holiday hotels where the evenings pass slowly. It is exactly the kind of relaxed base from which a full day out on the Mediterranean feels effortless.

Your dive day begins with a morning pickup from your Titreyengöl hotel — the free two-way transfer is included — and a short ride to the harbour in Side, where the dive boat is waiting. After a full safety briefing you make your first guided dive at 5–8 metres, lasting around 15–25 minutes, in calm, sunlit water. Back on deck a fresh lunch is served on board, and once you have rested, the second dive follows at 12–13 metres. The whole trip takes about seven hours before you are dropped back at your hotel.

What makes this outing special is its destination: the Side Underwater Museum diving trip descends among sunken sculptures resting on the seabed, and you can even hand-feed the fish that now live around them. Groups stay small, with just 3–4 divers per instructor, and the full day costs €45 with tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, lunch and insurance all included — you can compare every trip on our prices page. Reserve free online and pay on the day, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

No licence? No problem. Complete beginners are guided step by step — read how a first dive works on our discover scuba diving page. Try-dives are possible from around age 10, and friends or family who prefer to stay dry can join the boat at a reduced rate, while certified divers should bring their logbook for an official signature and stamp.

FAQ

Is hotel pickup from Titreyengöl included in the price?+

Yes. A free two-way transfer from Titreyengöl hotels is included on the Underwater Museum trip. You are collected from your hotel in the morning, taken to the boat in Side, and brought back after the trip — there is nothing extra to pay for the ride.

I have never dived before — can I join from Titreyengöl?+

Absolutely. No licence is needed: you get a full safety briefing and dive with an instructor in a small group of 3–4 divers, first at 5–8 metres and then at 12–13 metres. Try-dives are possible from around age 10.

What exactly does the €45 price cover?+

Both guided dives, all equipment (tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins), a fresh lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance, and the hotel transfer. You reserve online for free and pay on the day in cash or by card, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Are there any health restrictions I should know about?+

Diving is not possible during pregnancy or with severe asthma, heart or respiratory conditions, and you should not fly within 24 hours after diving. Anyone affected by these rules can still join the boat trip as a visitor at a reduced rate.
