Underwater Museum Diving Price: What the €45 Includes

Let's answer the question directly: the Side Underwater Museum diving trip costs €45 per diver for a full seven-hour boat day — and that number is genuinely final. There is no equipment rental on top, no transfer surcharge, no lunch bill waiting on board. You reserve your place free of charge online, pay on the day in cash or by card, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the trip.

So what does €45 actually buy? Two guided dives at the famous sunken-sculpture site: a gentle first dive in the morning at 5–8 metres for 15–25 minutes, and a second dive in the afternoon down to about 13 metres, the ceiling for beginners; certified divers dive the deeper profiles their qualification allows from the same boat. All equipment — tank, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins — is included, as are free two-way hotel transfer with a morning pickup, a fresh lunch cooked on board, passenger and diving insurance, and a full safety briefing before you enter the water. Groups stay small, with 3–4 divers per instructor, so beginners get real attention; no licence is required, and try-dives are possible from around age 10.

Why €45 when our other boat trips on the price list start at €43? Those two extra euros carry the flagship: diving among sunken sculptures and hand-feeding fish is the day people come to Side for. Non-diving companions can join the boat at a reduced visitor rate, sharing the lunch and the transfer. New to scuba? Start with our beginner diving guide, or message us for current availability.

FAQ

Is the €45 price really all-inclusive, or will there be extras on the day?+

It is genuinely all-inclusive: both guided dives, the full equipment set, two-way hotel transfer, fresh lunch on board, passenger and diving insurance and the safety briefing are all covered by the €45. Certified divers even get their logbook signed and stamped at no extra charge. The only option beyond the programme is a CMAS course, arranged on request — message us for details.

Why does the Underwater Museum trip cost €45 when other trips are €43?+

The two-euro difference reflects the site itself: the Underwater Museum with its sunken sculptures is our flagship dive, and the day includes hand-feeding fish and a small-group format of 3–4 divers per instructor. Our Kumköy, Kemer and Alanya boat trips run at €43 — you can compare all five trips on our price list.

Do beginners pay more than certified divers?+

No — everyone pays the same €45, licence or not. Beginners get a full safety briefing and a shallow, instructor-guided first dive at 5–8 metres before the afternoon dive to about 13 metres, their ceiling; certified divers go deeper, as their qualification allows. Try-dives are possible from around age 10. Please note diving is not suitable during pregnancy or with severe asthma, heart or respiratory conditions, and you should not fly within 24 hours after diving.

Can a non-diving partner or family member join the boat?+

Yes. Non-divers are welcome on board at a reduced boat-visitor rate and enjoy the same day out — the boat trip, the fresh lunch and the free hotel transfer. Contact us for the current visitor rate when you book.
