Price per Dive: What a Dive Really Costs in Side

Type "diving price per dive" into a search bar and you will meet two very different pricing models on the Turkish Riviera. Dive centres aimed at certified divers often sell guided dives individually, so every tank becomes a separate line on the bill. Holiday dive trips like ours work the other way round: one all-in price for a full day at sea. Every Side Diving boat trip — Side, Kumköy, Kemer, Antalya or Alanya — costs a fixed €43–50 and includes two guided dives, all equipment, free two-way hotel transfer, a fresh lunch on board, plus passenger and diving insurance. Do the arithmetic and you are paying roughly €21.50–25 per dive, with the boat day, meal and transport effectively thrown in.

The two-dive structure is not padding — it is how beginners learn safely. Your morning dive stays at 5–8 m for 15–25 minutes while you get comfortable with breathing and buoyancy; the afternoon dive then goes to 12–13 m, deep enough to reach the roughly 110 sunken sculptures of the Side Underwater Museum on our €45 flagship trip, where instructors take just 3–4 divers each. No licence is needed, and non-divers can join the same boat as visitors at a reduced rate.

So when does per-dive pricing genuinely make sense? Mainly for certified divers with specific targets — the MS Paris II wreck or the DO-28 aircraft off Kemer, or deeper reef profiles beyond our 12–13 m try-dive limit. We arrange those days individually, with pricing on request via WhatsApp or our contact page. For everyone else, the live table below shows exactly what each full-day trip costs today; you can compare all five on our prices page. FAQ

How much is a single dive with Side Diving?+

We do not sell single-dive tickets on our standard trips. Each full-day boat trip costs €43–50 and includes two guided dives, so the effective price works out at about €21.50–25 per dive — with equipment, lunch on board, two-way hotel transfer and insurance already included.

Are there any extra costs on the day?+

No. Both dives, all equipment, the boat day, fresh lunch, free two-way hotel transfer and passenger + diving insurance are covered by the listed price. You reserve online for free and pay on the day of the trip; cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.

Do certified divers pay per dive for wrecks like the Paris II?+

Wreck and deeper days — the MS Paris II freighter, the DO-28 aircraft, cave penetration — are for certified divers only and are arranged on request with individual pricing. Contact us via WhatsApp or the contact page. Our standard boat trips remain a try-dive format with a 12–13 m maximum.

Is the second dive of the day deeper?+

Yes. The morning dive stays at 5–8 m for 15–25 minutes; the afternoon dive goes to 12–13 m. This gentle progression is exactly why the two-dive package works so well for first-timers — no diving licence is required.
