Hidden Costs in Diving: What You Really Pay

The oldest trick in resort diving is a cheap headline price that grows all day: equipment rental added at the pier, a transfer charge on the bus, lunch sold separately, an 'insurance fee' collected before you board. We price the opposite way. Our five full-day boat trips cost €43–€50 all-in — the live table below shows current rates for every departure point — and that one figure already covers two guided dives, all diving equipment, free two-way hotel transfer, a fresh lunch cooked on board, passenger and diving insurance and the safety briefing. Whoever you book with — us or anyone else — ask these questions before paying. Is the hotel transfer included both ways? Is every piece of equipment in the price, or does the wetsuit count as 'rental'? Are lunch and insurance included — passenger and diving insurance? How many dives do you actually get, how deep and for how long? How many beginners per instructor? (On our Underwater Museum trip it's 3–4 divers per instructor; first dive 5–8 m for 15–25 minutes, second at 12–13 m.) And crucially: is a deposit required, and what does cancelling cost? With us you reserve free online, pay on the day and cancel free up to 24 hours before departure.

Two honest footnotes. Photos and video are genuinely optional — nobody will pressure you on the boat. Pickup is in the morning, with the exact time confirmed the evening before; there is no 'early pickup surcharge' or fuel fee. Non-diving companions join as boat guests at a reduced rate.
